The unveiling saw students from different faculties gathered at their school Hall to witness the launching of the awards and nominees. Addressing the student SRC President Asiedu Prince said “the SRC committee is happy to announce that Lumen Entertainment has financed the maiden event of the K’DUA Poly Awards 2016”. The team from the Faculty of Law of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology emerged winners of this year’s Georgina Theodora Wood Moot Court Competition. The KNUST team, in addition, took the prizes for the Best Oralist and Best Memorial categories. The Faculty of Law of the University of Cape Coast were runners-up. The competition was held on the 2nd and 3rd March, 2016. The competition which was on Constitutional Law formed part of the celebration of the Faculty Week. Beside the winners, competing Law Faculties were Mount Crest University, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA). The residents of the hall matched through  the principal  streets of the University on Sunday to  register   the commencement of the series of activities that will make the week long celebration a memorable one.
